Publication Schedule and Article Identification
Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology publishes six issues each year, with issue completion normally scheduled for the end of January, March, May, July, September and November. Its online ISSN is 2760-1757 and its print ISSN is 2760-3288. Articles may appear online before the issue is completed once editorial and production requirements have been fulfilled. This arrangement allows a clinically relevant paper to become available without waiting for the remainder of an issue.
Title history and continuity
Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology continues International Journal of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology, whose electronic ISSN was 2759-8756. Volume 2 Number 1, published on 31 May 2025, is the first issue under the present title. The preceding title used Volume 1. The title change required new ISSN assignments; the ISSN record identifies the continuing relationship. The current electronic ISSN is 2760-1757 and the print ISSN is 2760-3288. The change does not create an unrelated publication or reset original article dates.
Readiness for publication
An acceptance decision starts production; it does not mean that an unedited submission is already a published article. Copyediting, preparation of figures and tables, checking of required declarations, author proof review and verification of article metadata precede release. An unresolved concern about patient consent, trial registration or the reliability of results may require publication to be paused while it is assessed.
Dates and persistent identity
Each published research article identifies its publication date and records the dates of receipt and acceptance. Online publication is the event to be reported as first publication when a complete version of record has already been released. Later assignment to an issue must not disguise or replace that earlier date. A DOI and bibliographic citation identify the article; issue assembly must preserve the connection between the original online record and the completed issue.
Corrections to the record
Authors should report errors in names, affiliations, funding information or article identifiers promptly. Before release, production staff may correct metadata after verification. After release, changes affecting the scholarly meaning or accountability of the paper are considered under Corrections Retractions and Postpublication Discussion. A DOI does not certify scientific validity, indexing status or preservation by an independent archive.
Delays and changes
CMP does not guarantee a publication date in exchange for payment or accelerate acceptance to fill an issue. The editorial office informs affected authors when a material delay becomes apparent and explains the outstanding step. A substantial change to frequency or publication model is announced on the journal website with its effective date and treatment of articles already in production. Earlier issue records are retained.
Using the journal record
Readers should cite the article DOI and the bibliographic details on its current landing page. Authors depositing an early online article should update repository metadata when issue information becomes available, while retaining the original publication date. Questions about an apparent duplicate record or missing issue should include the relevant URLs. Questions or supporting documents should be sent through the CMP editorial office at cmpeditorialoffice@jandoopress.com, identifying the manuscript number or article DOI where available.
Website and metadata maintenance
The publisher maintains a distinct public article page and working full text links, uses HTTPS and keeps policy changes consistent across the journal’s pages and document formats. If CMP is included in a service requiring publisher supplied records, article metadata are supplied regularly and changes in fees, ownership, identifiers or publication status are submitted through that service’s update procedure. No indexing logo or acceptance claim is displayed without a verified current basis.
