Migration of DOI Services to J-STAGE and Publication Schedule Update

We are pleased to announce a strategic transition in the editorial and technical infrastructure of the Journal of Sustainable Built Environment (JSBE). To enhance the global reach and indexing of our scholarly output, the responsibility for DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration has been officially migrated from Jandoo Press to the J-STAGE platform.

New Publication Workflow
Effective immediately, all forthcoming articles will be assigned DOIs through the J-STAGE system. Under this new arrangement, J-STAGE will serve as the primary venue for the first publication of JSBE articles. To ensure maximum accessibility and continuity for our readers, all content will continue to be synchronized and made available on the JSBE official website.

Clarification on Publication Delays
We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the recent delay in our publication cycle. Specifically, Volume 3, Issue 2, which was originally scheduled for release on March 31, has experienced a postponement. This delay was a direct result of the complex administrative and technical procedures required for the DOI prefix migration, which proved to be more time-consuming than initially projected.

Future Schedule and Continuity
We are pleased to confirm that the journal will resume its regular publication frequency following this transition. The latest installment is currently finalized and is slated for release in late May 2026. We appreciate the patience and continued support of our authors, reviewers, and readers during this critical infrastructure upgrade.
