Archiving Policy

Jandoo Press is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To ensure integrity and availability, all journals participate in trusted digital archiving programs.

Archiving programs

  • CLOCKSS: All journal content is deposited with the CLOCKSS Archive so that, in the event of a catastrophic failure or if a journal ceases publication, the content can be made available by CLOCKSS to ensure perpetual, open access. Learn more: clockss.org
  • LOCKSS: Our journals support LOCKSS so participating libraries can harvest, verify, and preserve the content in a distributed network, providing redundancy and integrity checks over time. Learn more: lockss.org

Permanent access and trigger events

These trusted archives ensure that articles remain accessible even if a journal is discontinued or temporarily unavailable. CLOCKSS and LOCKSS provide geographically distributed, independently managed copies to guard against data loss and publisher downtime.

Preservation scope

Archived materials include: the version of record (PDF), accepted manuscripts where applicable, article metadata, supplementary files (e.g., figures, datasets, appendices), corrections and retraction notices, and issue-level front matter.

Deposit frequency and updates

Content is deposited on a rolling basis upon publication and updated as needed to reflect corrections, retractions, or metadata changes. DOIs are registered with Crossref to maintain persistent linking between the article record and preserved content.
