About the Journal

Environomics is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to research on the interconnected challenges of environment, ecology, and sustainable economics. It provides a scholarly platform for work that examines climate change, ecosystem degradation, biodiversity loss, resource use, green transition, environmental governance, planetary health, and related sustainability issues.

The journal welcomes original, methodologically sound, and policy-relevant contributions from both natural and social sciences. Its purpose is to support interdisciplinary dialogue and to publish research that improves academic understanding while informing practical pathways toward sustainable development.

Published by Jandoo Press, Environomics serves readers, authors, reviewers, and practitioners seeking a focused venue for environmental-economic and sustainability research. The journal is designed for studies that move across disciplinary boundaries, particularly those connecting ecological processes, economic systems, institutional arrangements, technological change, and human well-being.

The journal accepts Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Perspectives & Opinions, Policy Briefs, and Methodological Papers. Submissions may address empirical, theoretical, methodological, or policy-oriented questions. Suitable manuscripts include, but are not limited to, studies on climate mitigation and adaptation, ecosystem services, ecological restoration, circular economy, natural resource management, environmental regulation, sustainability assessment, spatial and computational modelling, public health implications of environmental change, and transdisciplinary approaches to global sustainability.

All submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are first screened for relevance to the journal’s scope, academic quality, ethical compliance, and basic submission requirements. Papers that pass editorial screening are assigned to appropriate editors and external reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of argument, and relevance to the journal’s aims.

Environomics is published quarterly and uses an online-first publication model. Accepted articles are published online after production is complete and are later assembled into a full issue on the scheduled publication date. This arrangement supports timely dissemination while preserving regular issue-based publication.

As an open access journal, Environomics makes published articles freely available online immediately upon publication. Authors retain copyright, and articles are published under a Creative Commons license with proper attribution required. Details regarding licensing, copyright, article processing charges, waiver options, archiving, privacy, publication ethics, and peer review procedures are provided on the journal’s dedicated policy pages.
