Ownership
Copyright in all articles is retained by the authors or their employers (where applicable). Jandoo Press does not require copyright transfer.
Non-exclusive licence to publish
By submitting and upon acceptance, authors grant Jandoo Press a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence to publish, disseminate, archive, translate for accessibility, and sub-license to indexing/archiving services the version of record (VoR) and associated metadata. Authors retain all other rights.
Open licence on the version of record
Unless otherwise stated, the VoR is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), permitting sharing, adaptation, text-and-data mining, and commercial reuse with appropriate credit.
Exceptions: Where required by funders, institutions, or law, journals may approve CC BY-NC 4.0 or CC BY-NC-ND 4.0upon request at submission; the applied licence will be shown on the article page and in metadata.
Author reuse
Authors may reuse, post, and republish their submitted, accepted (AAM), and published (VoR) versions consistent with the applicable CC licence and our repository policy, including for commercial purposes under CC BY 4.0. No embargo applies to the VoR.
Attribution and DOI
All reuse must provide full citation and a link to the Crossref DOI and publisher page. Suggested form: “© Authors. Published by Jandoo Press under CC BY 4.0. DOI: https://doi.org/…”.
Third-party materials
Non-original materials (e.g., images, maps, datasets) included in the article may carry different rights; reuse must follow their specific terms. Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions prior to publication.
Preprints and AAM
Preprints may be posted anytime. AAMs may be deposited upon publication (or earlier if mandated) with a statement of acceptance and an updated record including the DOI on publication. See the Repository and self-archiving policy for details.
Corrections and updates
If an article is corrected or retracted, licence and metadata records will be updated accordingly; repository records should be updated by authors to link to the publisher notice.
